East Kent Cycling Club

Ladies - Gents - Senior - Junior - Families - All Ages, if you ride a cycle, any cycle, - Racing/Tourer - Mountain - Tandem - Tricycle - Recumbant, or if you used to cycle, get the "Bike" out of the garage or shed, a polishing rag and oil can. Lets get mounted and lets go cycling. Cycling is very good for you, for your General Health, it benfits your Heart, is good for your Lungs, is helpful to Asthma Sufferers, and generally tones up your body. Get Fit - Keep Fit and enjoy doing it. You are interested, then you are welcome to join with the East Kent Cycling Club on their Sunday Rides. The Club rides to the first stop for Refreshment by about 10 am or 10.15 am, then on to the Lunch Stop and so home in the Winter months, but stay out for Tea and then home in the Summer months, after a very pleasant day of Cycling around the Kent countryside in good company. The East Kent Cycling Club is mainly a touring club, come along and join us, All cyclist are welcome, Juniors - (under 16 years) must be with a s responsible Adult. On Sunday mornings Club Members will converge from various points in East Kent and Thanet to the main meeting place as listed in the Tri-monthly News Letter. "TANDEM RIDES FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED". The Club does NEED URGENTLY the NAMES, ADDRESSES and phone numbers, of people with SIGHT PROBLEMS who would like a cycle ride on the back seat of a Tandem Cycle out in the fresh air, with the breeze in their face, around the Lanes and Villages of East Kent and Thanet. (NO Charge). Sunday Club "Rides" are listed in Cycling Weekly and montly in the Isle of Thanet Gazette and in the KM Extra, and every Member receives a list Tri-monthly. The East Kent Cyclling Club is represented on the Thanet Cycling Forum and Spokes. Now ON your "BIKE" and lets go CYCLING and enjoy the Kent Countryside.
