About Us
This website has been set up by Thanet District Council to help Thanet clubs, community organisations and charities promote themselves online. Using this website, they can:
- appear in an online directory of Thanet clubs, charities and community organisations
- publicise your events
- add your news stories
- advertise your latest vacancies
We are piloting this site as part of an ongoing Community information project with our partners Kent Connects. It is an exciting project that we hope will become a major resource promoting voluntary and community work across Thanet.
We are providing this service to you completely free of charge. So, if you
are a charity, not-for-profit, voluntary or community group or organisation, and want to be listed on this website then simply register here and start adding your information.
Even if you have your own website, getting listed in our directory can help attract more people to your own site.
It's easy to do. Once you are registered, you just log on to amend your contact details, add news, events or jobs, as often as you like. We then publish it for you on our web site.
You may also be interested to know about the Thanet Compact. This is an agreement between Thanet District Council and its statutory and voluntary and community sector partners developed to improve the way the two sectors work together. Find out more about the Thanet Compact here.
